If anyone knows how to drive an AWD car fast, its Mark Higgins. I reckon the gap would have been bigger if Higgens had driven the 1M. That guy is a brilliant driver!

So all the Audi fanbois who were raving about their win on that 10 meter drag, are going to be very quite now that they've seen what a real car could do. Not to say the Audi is bad but the BMW is miles ahead and if I had to choose, it would be the BMW every single time. :inlove:

You'll always get differing tests showing one faster than the other.

I'm a big Audi fan but have to admit, the 1M is a good looking car!
RS3 would have been a better comparison if it came in a 2 door, sportback looks like a whale!

Also wonder why they like to dial up the understeer, maybe they got a scare with the previous gen TT. they got it right with the RS4 if im not mistaken? BMW definitely wins this one no question. im just a huge fan of the 5 cylinder engine:fencelook:

IMO they are neck and neck - because there will always be something the one is better than the other.

Audi RS3 is quicker in a straightline - FACT. We've seen the Autoexpress test.
BMW 1M is superior on the track. Two tests proved it now.

For me then the 1M wins overall due to:
1. All Audis have no road prescence, except the A5/S5 and R8
2. Audi service sucks
3. RWD > AWD for the fun factor
4. Not into quartermile drags at all.
