Hi Guys,

Continuation from Here

Not much on the cosmetic side has changed.

Some mechanical items have been ticked off the list and a few more to be completed soon.

Thermostat gave up on my way to the BMW Car Clubs Concourse last weekend:

Thermostat replaced.
Thermostat housing changed to the Aluminium one.
Driver side window mechanism replaced

For convenience, i replaced the JVC Head Unit with an Alpine, i need USB in my life. Its just so much easier.

While the head unit was being changed, i had the rear parcel shelf covered in black fabric as the parcel shelf was gone purple due to the sun. Also, installed a pair of Kenwood 6x9's for a little better sound.

Fitted the GP registration plates and disk, here's my disk holder:

Today, i swapped the side markers, as they were the wrong way. I replaced all H1 headlight and fog bulbs as some were not working. Removed the roof racks as well. Then, gave it a weekly wash.

At the end of the month, she will go in for:
Sump Seal
Tie Rod Ends
Coil Overs

Thereafter i want to send the Hockenheims in for a refurb. They are straight, but i want them to be Gloss White with a high polished lip.

Enjoy!

Since day one, the left fog never worked. Replaced the globe, no go. Today, I managed to find the fault. Earth cable was broken inside the insulation. Snip and seal, sorted!

Park lights and fogs on to me, is a BMW Signature!

Thanks guys...

Im really enjoying this car. Its slow and old, but has such character and gets the thumbs up from passers by very often.

Cant wait to sort out a few things then onto the customizing the personality of the car a little more.

I do miss boost and performance, once day soon.

Very Nice, looking good for a 19 year old car!!:clapper:

I like the black and white of the car, so was thinking when you do the wheels maybe the centre caps should be changed from red to black and maybe that chrome on the grill could be black, but if you polishing the lips of the wheel then chrome matches nicely. just a thought

Enjoy the customizing
