Vuk it, this got me doubting myself... so I had a look. And no, it definitely wasn’t switched on...

... and I even checked the other side... but it was also off! So definitely none of these doing it!

:eek:mgwaiting: Hey Pete - have you eliminated the Speaker and the other electrical (sound) equipment in the housing behind seat, by pulling the fuse out firstly.

I haven't tried the fuse thing. Maybe that's an option to try. But when I switch the radio off completely, the noise is still there. And also, it only seems present when moving, and also yesterday it seemed that the sound definitely is audible from outside/underneath the car (opened window to try hear). But it's difficult to track down when driving and also isn't loud enough to make it obvious where it's coming from. But I may just try the fuse thing just to be sure... thanks!

Indeed! Waited for the right one before I signed for her! Made sure all boxes were ticked!

Hey guys,

So a quick update - so the sound is definitely emanating from somewhere under the car it seems - bright child that I am drove a bit with the window open, and although the sound is still very intermittent, the sound is definitely louder and emanating from somewhere under the car.

The weird thing is that the sound/pitch/volume doesn't change with speed or braking - which I would expect if its something that only happens when the car is moving? So that maybe rules out anything brakes, diff, drive shaft, clutch related - no?

Also doesn't happen when stationary and revving engine, so that rules out anything engine related - no?

It doesn't change when going over bumps, so not thinking it is suspension related - no?

Hope to be able to figure this out on the weekend...

Bugger.... sound seems to be getting a bit worse now.

I am still somewhat at a loss... but after trying to check some YouTube vids (car related) to try and see if anyone else had experienced similar sounds - I got the idea to try place my GoPro under the car and see if that can also help narrow it down.

So I guess I will be trying that this weekend. Now to find them and charge them and then try not to loose them when driving...
