Difficult to make out the number plate on the smashed one, but looks like it is different to the number plates on the second advert...

def not the same numbers.
I agree why sell for less.
But 180 is sweet even for a code 2...fun day car.

Not the same car gents, the fixed one belongs to a friend of my cousins, he's had it for about 2 years I think as a code 3.

Simple,

It may sound insane, but salvage cars go for bucket loads of of money.

Example, E36 328 in bla condition, 30k.

M52 Motor 20k
Gearbox 4k
Interior 5k
bumpers 1k each
Aircon unit 2k
Other loose stuff - Oodles
Shell eventually 5k, shell with papers 10k.

You see where this is going...

I had a good friend of mine trash his car and stored it at my shop. Insurance salvaged the car for 25k,

The car was then collected by me and taken to a very well known scrapyard, where... believe it or not, I found it being sold as a repairable salvage, which I happen to know is crap, as he split the motor and the gearbox. so motor stuffed as well..

Car was selling for 47k........

He spun out and connected a tree right on the rear fender twisting the chassis and pretty much bending the crap out of it.

So now, you can buy a complete Audi A6 with Quattro for like.... erm... 60 65k
