I am also looking for one.
@hrb, i think that you are going to test the one at Global Nissan. I drove the car.
I dont know whether its just my driving style but when u change from 1st to second and 2nd to 3rd, there is a very funny noise that comes from the gearbox. It sounds like one of the bearbos mountings are loose.
Anyway, has anyone actually test drove the one at s4 auto . 23k is very low mileage
I only checked them out - they look very clean and Im certain that they havent shaved the millage as you can tell by the seats if they have be worn on the boslters to start. I will go past again this weekend and see if they still have them. The clutches on these cars are very heavy to start with and u must get used to them, but you dont want to stop driving them. I have soooo much fun driving to work the long way (nice windy road like a track) .

I've decided to end the hunt since I've been battling to find one at the right price/condition. Did a deal on a E89 Z4 35i and am freakin loving it. Right color, spec, mileage for me and the convenience of having a hardtop cabrio swung the decision in its favor. Not an M car but it's no slouch!

The key for me is mileage. Anything under 50,000 km's with Motorplan in tact and little/no comments is bound to be a good drive. I did not look at any that did not meet the criteria and did not look at the one's at S4 either.

Hey gents

Forgot to post pics but here we go. Car needs a polish and I'm still trying to source BMW emblems for the rims.

That is sooooo hot. Wow!
Perfect wheel on the car too. I'm going to start a separate thread about this but I was wondering how BMW react to the non OEM wheels. Do you have issues come service time or claim time whilst the car is still covered by Motorplan?

Thanks HRB.

Iv never had an issue with the wheels. Maybe it's cos they think it's CSL wheels. Lol. Also, I used to have BMW emblems so maybe the assumption was its OEM. I had to remove the emblems cos they were knock-offs to fit the centre cap but couldn't live with the different shade of blue on the emblem and cream instead of white.

I can't see it being an issue though as Sandton Auto stocks HRE wheels which they offer as an option.

It could be dealer specific too. Some dealers get sticky unnecessarily. :thumbdo:
