z4 coupe 3.0 si

After a fruitless search for an M3 I stumbled upon a Z4 coupe with msport pack. Problem was that I'm in durbs and car was in joburg. But I managed to get my bro-in-law to view it. Absolutely pristine! So I've decided to take the plunge and buy it. The dealership have offered to fly me up to collect or alternatively they will drive the car down. Unsure which option to take.

Fly up, drive it down. I do it everytime we change cars as we tend to only buy from JHB. It's a nice drive to get acquainted with your new wheels.

Took the advice and flew up and drove her down. Bit nerve wracking 'cos I would be seeing it in the flesh for the first time. But aside from a few minor cosmetic issues I was well satisfied. Was a bit pissed that the saleswoman didn't tell me that the car wasn't settled so I would have to wait for the reg cert. But it is what it is!

Took it easy on the drive back to durbs. She ran real sweet

Did the trip on less than a tank(55l). Not bad at all.
At the coast she's breathing really well and I'm gradually opening her up. Performance is STRONG! I'm also amazed at the amount of attention she's getting! Damn, wish I was still single.
