The new flash logic available to the likes of Sherwin have really opened up tbe limits on the n54, however to compare a jb piggy alone without corresponding back end is also not a level playing field. I am lucky enough to have a custom back end that has the same "logic" applied to tbe tables that Sherwin is using and to be honest my car in full weight doesn't fail to scare the bejesus out of me..
I am still keen to take on the challenge in Durban..
Kish, why does a JB need a back end flash? Doesn't this box attenuating the voltage on the MAP sensors do enough for a good "tune"?
BTW, a car with just downpipe doesn't need a back end flash. But load it & bring. This isn't a trick. I want to do this.

Somebody asked Terry this week if he can tune his Vargas Stage 2+ & this is what Terry said:

Al he does is create a device & firmware. Terry himself says he's not a tuner & a piggyback is not a "tune". It works & it works pretty well at getting the boost up. And we sell a lot of them. But it's not a tune & Terry is not a tuner. These are his own words.

Ok explain why please? This car has the following hardware:
1. Downpipe
Wht settings are required in a back end flash for a downpipe?

Everyone jumping on the "let's compare to backend flash" bandwagon.
Can you tell me what a back end flash is in what situation is it required?
Also why do you need it to compare apples to apples? A flash tune doesn't need a "front-end box" to make 402 whp.
Kish, why does a JB need a back end flash? Doesn't this box attenuating the voltage on the MAP sensors do enough for a good "tune"?

It must annoy the shit out of you that the n54 tuning has gone so open source, in fact it was arrogant people like you and Shiv(Vishnu)that got people who are smarter than me to write fool proof programmes to read and flash the n54 so that even a monkey like me can use it...
So much so I can get similar results as you can, and I am not even a high level tuner!
