LET'S START WITH A BANG!
***240WKW & 750NM*** B57 G01 30D MONSTER because that's what the car feels like.
My experience with the Xcede JHB team @Xcede Performance has been a good one indeed. They are extremely knowledgeable and realistic which I appreciated from the jump. Juvan from Xcede was extremely professional and went the extra mile to assist me and provide updates. (videos/pictures/etc.) They did indeed listen to my ideas and what I wanted from the car but were also realistic and gave their seasoned insights to not get my hopes prior to putting in the work. They have done around 20 of these engines prior...Car was dropped off on Monday and ready by the midday the next day for collection. there was extensive logging and real time driving/dyno tests and revising which I appreciated. I was also assured of the methodic and systematic approach they use when tuning and testing cars to ensure perimeters are being adhered to safely for my peace of mind.
My vehicle has never felt this good. the drivability and smoothness are unmatched. Doesn't matter if I choose to drive like a normal law-abiding citizen or if I am feeling like "enough of this blue Monday" The sheer driving pleasure never left but instead got better! It doesn't feel like a 30D but really somewhere in between a 35i x drive or 40i x drive however some BMW fanatics have said that's modest, and car feels faster than that after test driving it. The XHP has made a world of difference, and the x drive system & 21's put the power down extremely well. My fuel consumption is also something to brag about despite it being only a week of testing, better than before (downpipe & K&N drop in filter) it now averages around 8-9L and that's with both decent and spirited driving. Draggy tests were done revealing my 0-100KMPH time & 1/4-mile time which if you would love to see, I encourage checking it out on Xcede Performances Instagram page.
There were a few files which I assumed was custom tailored for my vehicle as the team was still great enough to give me options regarding the power outputs meaning should I want less smoke there was a file which made lesser NM & KW in my case to be fair I wanted the power. With that being said the smoke is slightly more than normal especially when going hard on the throttle however normal driving and regulating the throttle the smoke is not bad at all. something I can for sure personally live with considering the other benefits. They were also kind enough to let me know there is an option to go back for a "lesser file" should i not be happy with the smoke.

my expectations in every regard and puts a major smile on my face. I was also pretty chuffed that the feedback was the Xcede team were also super impressed and happy with the final dyno results as its the strongest B57 (stock turbo) just stage 2 file & XHP yet. again, they were decent enough to first ask me if a more powerful file could be loaded after intensive testing over 2 days to ensure vehicle could handle it. customer service is definitely a priority for them, and I will be going back in future should i want to further mod. thanks to @KPM3_30 for suggesting this tuner as he has many years and many cars done with them over time.
