X1 Diesal Vibration

Hi Guys

Some help here please, I have a X1 2.0 Diesel X drive and feel a slight vibration when in drive on the steering wheel, seats and dash. The frequency of the vibration is high and not like the low frequency of a diesel engine.

I read a few forums saying that this is normal behavior for a X1 2.0d.

Could be transmission or engine mounts, even a vacuum pipe disconnection on the engine mountings. Diesel engines have vacuum controlled engine mountings.

Hi Sirhan, I had a X1 2.0D as well. Never had issues like that.

my wife cannot feel it, there are tons of forums on the internet that say it is normal.

there is a slight vibration in the foot well as well when stationary

What do I tell BMW? .... those technicians do not know their knee from their elbow.

Try a different dealer.
