Would i be dumb to do this or dumb not to do this

Good day to all

Okay maybe i have to much time on my hands but i would like some help on this one and you guys would know if i ammaking a dumb mistake to do it or not to do it.

I have the following car Bmw 318i E46 2004 facelift model. Immaculate condition sec owner car have 130000km full service history accident free and the usual as all the other bmw. I did recently replace 4 new tyres rear schocks and lower control arm bushes. Car was service 4500km ago.

Now here comes the problem. I went to look at the car yesterday and the guy se we could talk about a swap.

Its a Bmw 2005 E46 320i motorsport 137000km but no service history the car got a few problems. Oil sweat at filter housing a few scratches on the body frond windscreen cracked right hand side light on indicator lights on dash board is on so light problem and 4 new tyres. The guy say he is second owner is there a way to check up history i got the vin number

Why would the guy want to swap a 325i motorsport for an older 318i...

Think about it... The car is obviously messed up and will probably cost you a lot to fix.

rather spend the money to do the conversion on your car, or get a motorsport with full history. Just my 2c but ultimately you will make a decision (holding thumbs that it's a good one for you)

Not a 325i but rather a 320i? As stated in the first post???

Not a good colour in my opinion. Keep your silver 318i...does both cars have the same 2.0L engine??

I believe the 318i facelift comes with 2.0L and the 320i facelift is a 2.2L:fencelook:

4 cylinder vs V6 also...

Bud, keep your car.....you know its history and what was repaired....buying someone else's problem will make you regret that decision maybe not soon but later on.
Maybe add the extras on.
