you know what you have got,and what is needed to be done on your car,so i say keep it.
all you would be doing is getting somebody elses problems, and could end up costing a large amount of cash in the end

I believe the 318i facelift comes with 2.0L and the 320i facelift is a 2.2L:fencelook:

4 cylinder vs IL6 also...

I don't think is worth the risk, rather keep your car:thumbs:

I fixed it

something not right there, he wouldn't swap a 320i msport for a 318i unless there was something very wrong with it.

you know your car and the condition it is in, stick with your car.

This guy is trying to make his problems yours. Walk away.

Just to know, why do you want to sell? More power? Different look?

If its more power rather look at an e36 328i. If its more looks or comfort there are lots and lots of e46 320i out there. And if you are worried about fuel consumption, like the older gentleman says hes looking for something smaller and maybe lighter on fuel he is fooling himself because the fuel consumption, driving within reason of course, does not differ that much.

dont swap your car, its neat and you spent a bit of cash on it less than 5k km ago ...

if you do you're going to have higher fuel consumption, unknown reliability and most likely some trouble ...

its not worth a set of M sport mags and body kit...

Ah saw this advert on Gumtree - BMX E46, Sports Package, 2005, R90k, 137k km, manual, 2005...

Black BMW 320i, 2005 model, one owner, low kilometers with lots of extras. Tan leather interior, sunroof, speed control, electric windows, rain & light sensors, mag wheels, etc. Good condition.

Looked decent from the pics, but like with all 2nd hand cars, always best to take a proper look at it and not trust pics!

These are great cars, but based on what you are saying, you are going to swap your immaculate 318i for this 320i which is not in as good condition and has various issues to sort out. The no service history is the major off putting problem! Walk away fast!!!

Personally I would look for a clean 325i, but honestly, these 320i facelifts with the M54B22 (2,2l) engines are really nice, and I reckon there are still loads of good ones out there!!
