Witch getting stripped and fixed

The prop shaft is a 2 piece tube with a flexible joint in the center.

The front half and the rear half are mated and balanced by the manufacturer.

If you change the orientation of the front half to the rear the prop will be out of balance.

Look for a mark on the front half and try and find it on the rear half and make sure they are in line when you mate it again.

If no marks which line up and no balance the car will vibrate.

While I`m saving up for the spares/work to be done I want to know, there are some small things I want to fix like actuators that were acting up, and then my passenger window that didn`t open fully with one press of the button.

No my question is can I connect the battery with the motor out? And is there any wires I must tape up for safety?
