So with the help of my Hayens manual, (thanx flash) I started yesterday at stripping the witch so to get an estimate on the damage and either get it fixed or fix her myself.
Some photos of work.
Viscus fan and upper intake manifold removed
Found the butterfly arm that broke off, it is the butterfly in the lower intake manifold and the screw holding the butterfly to the arm and about a 15mm piece of the arm seems to have gotten into the motor.
Also removed the spark plugs and got a lot of oil on plug nr 3 and 4, everything still turns like it should. Also got the lower intake loose and up but cant get it out, I think it is the wiring harnas that is in the way, can see 2 wires on I think the starter and then I think the other goes to the back of the alternator but cant see how to get it loose.
How I left it for the time being, will probably work on her again on Friday or the weekend.
Did put the top cover back in place as to prevent stuff falling into the crankshaft.
I will also have to do some serious cleaning before it gets put back together.
Can see the oil in the intake, as well as the build up inside the head and head cover
Thats it for now.
Will keep updated as things progress.
