Windscreen washer bottle

Anyone had one of these leak? My wife's 120i's water bottle leaks all the time, where is it and is it easy to get to? I know it is inside of the right front wheel, but how accessible is it?

You have to remove the wheel and the wheel arch cover to get to it. The bottle is behind the cover.

There after you should have enough access to get to it.

Got it out today, quite a mission, turns out the rubber under the front pump leaks, I hope it can be bought separate.....

Ok, so my attempted fix did not work, but a call to BMW, they have those rubber seals that the pump fits through, so tomorrow I will fit 2 new ones....R37.00 each...this issue was reported at the last service, my wife was told there is no problem....I guess the water just miraculously appears out of the concrete...Maybe they know it's a crap job to remove the bottle...

So, I fit 2 new seals.....still leaks...GRRRR....so I strip it all again, fill the bottle and check it out, still leaking around the seal...so I remove the pump, block off one end, blow into the other, guess what....the frigging pump leaks...off to BMW, some more ZA Ronts, refit, no more leak....guy at BMW says it does happen occasionally....so, around R1000.00 later, no more water leak...:thumbs:
