Windscreen change, wipers a problem

I have an E46 330i with auto wipers and self dimming rear view mirror, had the windscreen changed recently, now my mirror dims in daylight, and my auto wipers don't work as they should, and I did specify to the windscreen guys that it has auto wipers.....where to look?

open up the hosuing that surrounds the mirror, there should be at least 2 plugs there, 1 for the rain sensor and 1 for the autodimming mirror.. either the plugs were not put back in or they were swopped...

lastly does it have the rain sensor rectangular area on the new windscreen?

Thanks Kish, will have a look. Yes, there is the correct pattern of open areas and blanked off areas in the centre of the windscreen, lets hope there is a simple plug problem.

Sorted, the rain sensor plug was not plugged in....they cannot be swapped though, one is a 4 pin, the other an 8 pin plug. The mirror plug was plugged in, so I don't know why the mirror was going dark......
