Window Tinting on E90 320D

Hi there, I have a 320D E90. The issue I have is that the window tint is getting vertical scratches in the driver and rear passenger windows . I went to the dealer and they advised that there is nothing wrong with the window cradle etc. Does anyone also have the same issue? What is the fix?

That happens when sand gets in the crevice and causes scratches when the window goes up and down. Probably going to have to strip your doorpad and clean the glass + surrounds. Hope it hasn't affected the glass itself.

Hi, it cant be, it happened from day 1 of installing the tint, not a recent occurrence.

The tint is probably too thick in that case. My mate has 150 micron llumar Smash and Grab tint and there is no scratches. Refer to other posts about the differences in micron thickness --->
