Hi

I have recently been having issues with E36 drivers window...

it works and goes all the way up but as it comes to the top it kinda jumps the rubber. not much though but its annoying. what can I do to sort it out?

You will need to re-align the window mechanism inside the door itself. I had the same issue when I had my e36.

Also check when you have the door panel off that the mechanism itself is ok, they tend to form small breaks in the steel itself...

Yup, mine also did that
1)check the tefflon slide and the retaining circlip on the operating arm
2)check the side slides/guides for integrity

Had the same issue with mine.

As has been said above, check the adjustment on the mechanism and general condition of the mechanism itself. Also check the window guides inside the door when you take the panel off.

Just be sure to sort it out ASAP otherwise the window starts to eat into the rubber and leave tears which can complicate things even after the window alignment is sorted.
