Who is going to march on Friday the 7th April - now Wednesday 12 April

The good news is that people are starting to see this for what it is: a desperate strategy.

There was an interview with the SACP spokesman on 702. His words: it is a mistake to to try and reduce the marches to a racial problem, especially considering SACP participated in the marches.

So this morning I read a report on News24 that the mayor of Ekhuruleni has said "white people must be very very careful."...... but THAT'S not racist. THAT'S not a direct threat.

I take it that way you racist bigot. You single out a section of the population purely on the basis of skin colour. :RedNo:

Yes. And where are the screams of racism from the masses? Deafening silence. Which is tacit support.

In exactly the same way that victims of apartheid in some quarters say with conviction that whites who said nothing in the past indirectly supported apartheid so to can that argument be applied now.

What is required is for South Africans to reject racism in all forms all the time. Not selectively.

If there were posters depicting black people as baboons in the marches those people must be dealt with because it is totally unacceptable. Period.

I would have expected though that if such material was indeed displayed it would have been all over twitter and social media and the mainstream news. I have to say I didn't recall seeing anything but that's not to say it wasn't there.

If it is proven that the statements made by Zuma are false then it's a thinly veiled incitement to violence. Just look at how the mayor has come out fighting......

I've read that in the news yesterday that Zuma said there were posters saying it but I also didnt see any poster saying anything even remotely like that, plus you are right. People would have jumped at this opportunity to disgrace the fighting against Zuma. He will need to proof this as he said so and no other news agency or social media said anything of this sort. Maybe he is trying to divide us by implying this

I believe there are to be more marches tomorrow, apparently from the EFF.

They say they will make it impossible for Zuma to enjoy his birthday tomorrow...

This gives me hope for our beautiful country.....the last paragraph is particularly relevant imho

http://www.news24.com/Columnists/GuestColumn/president-zumas-race-card-offends-me-20170411

The president fails to understand that a significant portion of the populace are not taken in by his divisive tactics.

#ZUMA MUST GO. Just like the Ekhuruleni mayor, he is a racist bigot. One trick pony with his racist comments.

#RACIST COMMENTS MUST BACKFIRE :roflol:

Ironically, today is not only the birthday of Undesirable No. 1 himself, but also of Pravin Gordhan.

I wont join the march unless DA fire HZ.

This is not about one political party. I don't care if the ANC stays in power - it's about getting rid of one idiot who has been selling our country to the highest bidder.

Dude you really need to read the whole thread before you bring up points that have already been discussed
