White smoke when starting car

Hello everyone,

I haven't driven my car for three weeks not even starting it and this morning when a started the car I noticed a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipes, and the pipes are very black inside. What could be the problem here?

I drive an e90 335i.

Thanks

Have you checked once the oil was warmed up to operating temperature i.e.
86c? Is the smoke consent, on acceleration / de-acceleration?

When the oil is warmed up the smoke is not there, and the smoke is not so much on acceleration.

When a car stands for a long period you get condensation in the exhaust as well as oil settling on the valve stems.

Not at all unusual and typically stops after the first heat cycle.

I have a similar problem. Serviced 335i n55 2 weeks ago (including plugs). Drove the car home where it parked for 2 weeks. Started it and white smoke basically filled my entire yard. Drove it slowly for a while. 2 days later my oil light comes on! Anything to be worried about?
