I've yet to truly experience an ///M car in all its glory but I would choose the E39 M5: Classy, Brutal, Understated - The Ultimate Sleeper. E36 M3 saloon comes a close second.

I used to like the E 30 for its exclusivity. Then more recently I loved the CSL. And at the moment of course the E 92 takes my breath away,,, Wasn't too fussed with the e 60 M5 cos visually it just looked like an m sport

Having owned E36M3 , E46 M3 , E92M3

The E36M3 is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

The E46M3 is a perfectly combined package that made it a drivers car.

The E92M3 is a down right beast with loads of HP waiting to be unleashed.

If i had to choose , I would do E46M3 , its just the character of the car that will make one know they driving a ///M

Uhhmm, that is exactly what a M5 is supposed to be...it looks like a normal 5 series, but has a powerful engine and better suspension.......the aggressive looking body-styling has been the domain of the M3.

I've only ever driven one real M car and that was Rick's E34 M5, but I took it easy as it was cold and not mine. He took over and that big six is just amazing. The hair at the back of my neck stood up. Fantastic engine.

If I ever could, I would have an E30 M3 and a E34 M5 with the E30 being my first choice.
