What to buy: E46 or E90

Brake Boosting with the ZF box is 'safe' .. Loading the torque converter up with a stock car is fine, it's over-engineered anyway. But for a tuned monster I think it's a risk.

Tried brake boosting in an F10 530d, was easy given all the torque.

In my E46 however, it just feels like something is going to break. The E46 autos seem to me quite fragile if not taken care of.
