All those figures seem very optimistic.

:sorry:

Best bet would be to buy a Dragy device and then test it as those devices are known for being very accurate.

Thats why i ask. Apparently the most accurate free app now. Did 400 m at 165 on a video clip and that was a happy clip for me i thought ( even by screen to screen standards)

13.1s is at least 1.5 seconds faster than what a mapped x5 3.0d should be doing IMO. I would personally not trust this app too much, but it does look like your car moves very well judging by the videos etc.

My dads stock M50d does around 13.5s at about 167 kph so this is definitely optimistic.

Agree to this but my power to weight ratio is better than the stock 50d now. At high speeds i prefer the 50d still but not sure from low down. Just imagine a souped up 50d .......

But back to OP . What vehicles does what times over 400 m ? For comparison ?

Did you do a dyno before and after? My dads M50d made 245 wkw and 640 nm last year at the fanatics dyno. It was stronger than many of the E90 330ds with SW. Im not sure if your power to weight ratio can be better.

242 kw and 635 nmt @ 2005 kg

How much does the 50d weigh ? Around 2200 kg ? Look at disc ?

To answer that question, a stock M140i or M240i should do these times.

Was the power measured at the flywheel or wheels?

Looked at your figures now , 245kw and 640nmt ( 280 and 740 as per bmw) so this is wheel power ? Am trying to make sense of dyno outputs still. Wheel power and corrected power and bhp confuse me still

Stock x40is make in the region of 244-255kw at the wheels and weigh at least 450kg less than the x5 and run comparable times to what the app gave you, that alone should give you some clarity on whether or not the app is accurate or not.

We had a 30d with SW, 40d with SW and now the 50d. There was little difference between the 30d and 40d in terms of performance, but there is definitely a jump to the 50d. 50d also has LC. The 30d remains the best all rounder. Power I am mentioning is at the wheels.

I also tried the 50d with my 340i. The 50d gets the initial jump but than I just pull away easily.

Seems to me i must rather stick to dunedriving...

Just test it properly on a timed drag strip when you get the chance:cartel: These x-drives get off the line extremely well
