What do you hate about your Bmw?

So we all adore our Bmws, but come on admit they are not perfect. Here are my minor gripes about design:
Mcoupe. Window Doesn't go down all the way. DSc off light is blinding at night.
M5. Rev limit lights do not dim... so again this is bright at night. The :argh: phone is right by my elbow... and pops out of its cradle every 30 sec.
635. Key goes in ontop of the steering column... it takes genuine effort not to turn on the window wipers when using the ignition.
X5. Diesel and auto box combo... means a good couple of sec delay when leaping out into a gap in traffic from standstill. It has meant a couple of heart stopping moment. Tramlining with the big wheels. I believe the Bmw suspension set up is particularly susseptable to tram lining.

So have a good bitch and tell us your gripes.

I love everything about all the BMW's I have owned but I frikking hate the manufacturers/delater attitude in general.

Also the quality of some of the parts is not quite as good as we would like to think it is, and yes I'm comparing it to the older mercs here but it's true.

I hate the fact that BMW did not leave space for a spare tyre in the boot of the E90 and I absolutely hate runflats :yuck:

I hate the fact that my E30 m3 has a different owner, actually, that goes for my E92 m3 as well.....

Hate it...

lol, on a more serious note, I hate the 2002 dash. It cracks if you point a bright torch at it.

And the e90's lack of a dip stick. I actually dislike electronics all together. Can easily live without it

How thirstily it devours fuel...

But in all honesty the only thing that really irritates me is the lack of cupholders

Well, at the moment hate the fact that the agents did not fix my car's 'pinking' issue - now have to fix this on my own as in at my own expense, so much for having motorplan...

For the E90, the lack on interior materials quality, and for that mater design. Electric windows switches on the driver's door is placed in a very impractical location - took a long time to get used to it, but still sometimes end up opening the right rear window instead of the driver's window. Being forced to use BMW Approved RFT's - not all of them are any good, and no proper place for a spare wheel or space-saver is also very stupid. Lag and slight delay in throttle response is annoying a lot of the time, can only compensate for it so much before it trips you up. Eats fuel when idling and not moving!

That they couldn't make PDC a standard feature on a blerry R700k car :argh: And for some reason, the original owner didn't think that it was necessary. I don't see why he didn't, because it wasn't that he drove well, seeing the amount of scratches on the rear bumper.

Well, i love my 328i, i hate the fact that im not the owner of it from brand new, even though its still neat, i would have kept it in near brand new condition!!!

Other than that i hate that all 3 series are so low compared to most if not all the cars in its class...but than again that downfall is forgotten when the car is going around a bend coz the handling makes up for it.

I hate the rev limiter in my e46 325i, it almost feels like someone is hitting the brake and it takes forever to restore the power. Could be dangerous in single lane overtaking, seeing that it is such a free revving motor.
I don't have the 1M long enough to complain about it, but that whole car is a compromise towards performance. It doesn't have run flats and it also doesn't have a spare wheel...:fencelook: It does have a repair kit and a small compressor though.

Dude, you had MG's?:flyfun:
You can't complain, anything is an upgrade from today's MG's!

Overall it was a massive upgrade. But I have to be honest. My MG ZR was the most comfortable car I have ever had.

BMW is more fun though.
