Purchased mine at Township Motor Spares in Chatsworth, KZN.
The Sensor cost R116.
I have not yet priced Fronts... But looks like I might need to soon.

Bavs108 said:+1. Looks awesome, but way too pricey. Just confirmed the quotation from Midas. R1069 for ATE front disks and pads and rear pads. Rear disks would need to be ordered.

My father in law fitted Febi disks to his 328i and was not long before they started to shudder, so he is not impressed. Brake dust is one of those things, and I'd rather have brake dust than warped disks that shudder from getting too hot (ceramic pads do this in particular).
Midas charged me R2700 for disks, pads and wear sensors for front and read for my Wife's 320i - agents wanted R3200 with labour just for the rear! The 330i brakes are of course going to be more expensive, but rather go for the better quality parts since they do last generally quite well on these cars!
Which midas?

Cool, because the claremont Midas had no clue when I asked them for ATE pads :flyfun:

That's strange, I got pricing from them for ATE pads and discs for my previous car from Tonnesons Midas..
Philip Foglar said:Yep, it is a pity that we don't have a local online shopping site like this! G-Drive is pretty good and constantly updating their catalogue as things become available or sold out. But yes, not always OEM stuff. Not sure about the Meyle disks and pads, probably not too bad, but not sure how they compare to the OEM parts.
See now that it is OEM parts that ECS motorsport sells - very nice stuff!
The smaller branches aren't always too clued up it seems, I was directed to the Goodwood main branch since they are also the warehouse and generally have stock of everything...

I had to wait for those discs. Auto Bavaria had them come all the way from Germania.Took 4 weeks!

Thanks will do so:thumbs: Gonna do some more shopping around this weekend:rollsmile: So far the ATE's are at the top of my list. Do I need to get brake sensors all round or just 1 for the front and 1 for the back?
