What color BMW would you have

What color BMW would you have for your dream BMW and why?
Practicality? Orange, pink, yellow, green, red, black, white?
Which one is best to look clean for longer? White :nonono:

Your opinions / comments please.

Let me start:
I have a white e46 with 7 different colors before LZ matched up the color the actual car should be - a real white smartie box.
I found that white colors fade differently when of different type in the UV sunlight, causing this smartie box effect. So it is better to repaint the entire car. BMW approved repair centre matched it perfectly, now 4 years down the line, there is a color difference. At least the nose was entirely re-done, so I only have 3 colors now :roflol:

I had an arctic silver e90 325i - very special color tricks by BMW. It did not show dirt as quickly as the white e46.

Your Favourite colors please :inlove:

I always liked silver because it represents the historic German racing colours and the image of a German sedan in cloudy, wet weather is just epic.

However, a motoring journalist friend of mine once mentioned that silver 'is not a colour' since it looks like bare metal! I hated that idea! But historically, some German racer was silver because the paint was removed to reduce weight!

However, the silvers appeal to me - the glacier blues and greens - the light silver greys and light metallics in various shades. When they are not quite as clean, they don't look that bad.

I have a glacier green BMW and a black one. My brother has a silver BMW and a Calypso red. The darker colours really look dirty after a week, and scratches are very prominent. The lighter colours don't look so bad.io

However, there are many colours to choose from and they all so beautiful! Depending on how frequently the car is exposed to the elements, some colours do look better then others over time.

BTW, I would love a dark blue 850i!

Looks like silver or blue are plausable choices.
So silver would be the more practical one? If your not catching crooks that is

I must agree, Estoril Blue is just an epic colour and it doesn't show dirt quickly and doesn't show scratches.
