1. NO E90 came with dct ( Other than m3 had M - DCT) , the 335i had normal steptronic. Paddles were optional
2. The only 3 series to have dct is the e92 335i
3. The 1 Series (135i) came with DCT from mid 2010 ( N55 Motor)

The ffg cars are fitted with DCT :
335i coupe ( 2010)
135i Coupe ( 2010)
Z4 35i
M3 ( MDCT)

Hope this helps a bit

Noob question....
The F30's ? is that DCT, if I'm going alone on Chef's pic.

No, the DCT is reserved for the M3 or M4, whichever is to come out soon.

The F30 got the 8 speed ZF box, which offers very smooth gear changes as well as a high ratio 8th gear for optimum fuel economy.

The DCT is very fast gear changes, not as smooth as the ZF.

However, I'm sure the F3x 335i will eventually get the DCT as well. It's a more expensive version and so not very common on what most people want with a 3 series.

Look at how much you can get a basic spec 3 series for these days. Catering for the masses...

Also, there is a difference between M-DCT as found on the M3 vs the DCT as found on the x35
