The 325 vanos motors (M50) are the best that were used in the e36's and are bullet proof if serviced regulary. Thay can even handle a fair amount of abuse and not complain. I agree with the earlier comment of them being stronger than the 328's (esp the aluminium 328's were poor). Two customers spring to mind - one who did 720 000 km before a rebuild and one with 650 000 and still going. The engine accessories (alternator etc) seem to last well too.
Nice Nice, pity you have to sell the Verts as they are very difficult to replace, atleast with one in your condition.
Nice sticker, MegaB$%ch. I prefer the cleaner look on the rear without any stickers, just the beemer badge, my 2c comm.
The stickers will go as soon as the car's in my name and well as the addition of a stroker kit in the motor! I also like the clean look on a car.
It is sad to see her go and her reconditioned mags arrive on friday! Please keep ears open for people looking for a clean vert. i dropped my price to R70k not neg as i need her to go soon.
Noted, but i'll change the sub setup in the boot to make more space. She has 2 subs, 2 amps, 2 split systems, CAP and bass controller. The sub enclosure is ported into the cabin. plays very clear!
Yeah also remove the 18's of the vert and put it on the 325? I had a 328 with m3 wheels sold it and bought another e36 with standard 15'' wheels regreted not swopping the wheels ever since.
Hey will be keeping up the gear knob tommorow. Will keep you posted
@Heven, good to hear. My M3 wheels are 17's and the wheels on the 325i are also 17's but they are wider than my m3's and they have brand new tires on. So i'll let my car go with the M's. Have a possible buyer that is coming to see the car in person tomorrow. Please let me know once you have the gearknob!
