Two Coupes

Well I picked up the Shark today. And fell in love...

I grabbed some pics and though I would spread the love around. MCoupe is feeling slightly unloved as she hasn't had a wash for a few weeks and been driven in the wet. But now she has a bodyguard so the Jeep and Land rover don't bully her;)

I just love the 6... cannot get enough of that nose!! And it goes surprisingly well. It is a lot more raw but not as brutal as the Mcoupe and will make a more practical runaround.

A few niggles and and after a good clean I discovered a few things I hadn't noticed before. But started a new thread under the 6 forum to discuss that.

Enjoy.

Wow :dropjaw: Two of my favourites under one roof  , you lucky guy. So that's the shark you bought, looks gorgeous, congrats again  , and some clapping . Correct me if I'm wrong, you bought that car in Koeberg Road, and the panelshop guy you bought it from is a Romanian fellow based in Paarden Eiland. If I'm right, I think you got a good car. Have known the guy a few months and just this week he did a little touch up on my MLE, and we discussed his just sold e24. He seems like a straight up guy, which means you more then likely got a straight car. Which would also mean Cape Town is still a bloody small place. Once again, your two cars are just stunning...I am soooo jealous :)

I've also really liked the old 6. I remember this one being on the Gum for some time. It has some special paint or something??

Looks good. Hope it brings you miles of smiles :thumbsup:

Looks awesome :)

For quite a while I wanted to get one, but the good one's are pretty expensive so I never really bothered. Now I'm wanting one again. I see there is one on the Gum for R50k :mmm:

EDIT: Actually, there are 2.

I paid 47000 for this one. Just remember they polish up good but trim is v expensive. Mechanicals are identical to the e12 or e28 depending on your year... so worry less about engines and suspension and focus on the exterior and interior trim.

I really like these cars every nite I dream of having the funds to put my dads one back to its glory days for him.

As I think it would be a great gift for him he really loves his car. But unfortunately he is fighting for his life in hospital at the moment. He was diagnosed with leukemia a couple of years ago. He has undergone a stem cell transplant in January this year, and things went well. But he picked up a virus of some sort and his bone marrow has shut down. The doctors are doing there utmost but said its best if we take it day by day.

So being one that believes in positive thinking it would be a perfect get well card / car.:joy:

But all spare cash is being sucked up by medical aid shortfalls.

:sorry: About the sad story but there will be a happy ending.

:praise: Thanks man I'm hoping to get out to his place this Sunday to start her up and maybe a short drive. It needs new paint and as far as I know master cylinder and booster needs some attention and diff has a serious whine. After I washed the car I'll take allot pics. And post them.
O, its in centurion.
