You'd be surprised how many e90, f30 and other diesels on this forum go to warren for work. ;)

This thread was never about Gizmo, it was about Tune Tech and if they are any good.

And Yes, they are good.

Can you please stop punting your buddy because he isn't all that, many guys here have had issues with his workmanship and not just his kak online persona.

As Firi posted another great option is The357, you definitely wont be left disappointed there.

The op asked two questions sweetie. Read the whole post this time.

Would love to hear what issues with his workmanship, do tell.

No :roflol:

I have tried to use Tunetech now for a few jobs (E90 valve stems seals, R53 engine rebuild, and suspension rebuild), just because they are close to my work, and every time I walk away disappointed.

From what others have said, their work should be good. But whoever answers their phones is an idiot.

I ask for something specific to be done, then they come back saying it is a very bad idea and that I should only ever go for something else otherwise the sky would fall. After I insisted, it turns out they just cant source the parts I wanted.
Then they refuse to do the work if I source it myself.

I just don't trust people that can't be straight from the start. Its too easy to hide bad work on a car.

Also, you have to phone them over and over again just to get them to answer questions.

Not a fan to be honest.

From personal experience no mechanic is perfect so keep that in mind.

I work on my own car or I take it to Grant Doyle as these workshops sometimes use their less experienced ppl to work on your car. I would rather get a smaller scale workshop of ppl who are BMW enthusiasts and that you can trust

Since when did Warren start working on e90s? He proclaimed many times that bmw died after the e46? I actually won't let him touch my car as the technology in the E90 and f30 is well past his skill set of welding and grinding and degreasing..

Couple years already, sure he may not like the E90 but that is no reason to turn clients away. Those who took in e90s/f30s ect for work are now repeat clients so he is obviously doing something right...
You guys sure do miss him seeing as you keep on bringing up his name...

If all you have on him is a failed subframe repair from 8years ago then your case is very very weak, keep jogging troll.

I heard your boyfriend was busy sending people messages that they must remove slander from this thread? :roflol:
Please pass the message onto him (hi Gizmo if you're reading this) and tell him to move on with life now and forget about this forum

Im posting this on Warren's behalf

Hello chaps, seeing as you won't leave me in peace it's time I make a return to the forum. The time off has given me the opportunity to re-evaluate my position in the community and a change in my approach was desperately needed. I admit my approach on the forum previously was somewhat polarizing and because of that there are some I need to reach out to more than others. For those I have wronged in any way in the past, I am sorry.
Kimeran, rockfire, dvst8, Nikhil, Karsh ect, my humblest apologies for being a cake to you guys in the past. I didn't give you the respect you deserved in the past and I plan on changing that. I hope you find it in your heart to give me a second chance to prove I can be a better person and to move forward as adults and leave this childish banter behind.

Is this for real?
If yes, much bigger person to acknowledge any wrong doing and apologize.

for the rest of the complaints/comments, not needed.

Okay. We locking this thread.
How all car mechanical/technical threads about the e46 or the e90 for that matter turns into a Gizmo thread/debate is beyond me.

In terms of the Gizmo apology above...he can send an email to [email protected]

We cant respond to messages from 3rd parties.

Peace out....

@Zach

You may pass this message back to Gizmo from me, the following is my personal opinion and not that of the forum or any "title" I may carry.

Warren is an adult, an adult who has made many mistakes of the sort in the past. He has apologised previously for the repeat transgressions and yet continued to make the same errors over and over like an S motor runing bearings.

Nothing has changed to the statsus quo to allow Warren back in. The staff had a long energy sapping discussion over his future when he was banned permanently and they made a good decision because as staff there has been zero urgent threads that needed attention in the past few months unlike previously we had to deal with a gizmo matter literally every two weeks. The staff team is now stronger and happier to selflessly devote time to the forum and build a better platform for its members.

Then we get to issues like the slander posted on other forums about bmwfanatics and its staff which is simply beyond forgiveness. The items posted elsewhere stays in cyberspace and doesn't just disappear.

Gizmo, the staff did not drag you into this thread, your fan boys mentioned your name and the membership took a chance to express their opinion. The staff also did not edit any posts where you were mentioned. I suggest you stop trying to register new usernames trying to return to the forum. We will continue to ban them as fast as you can register them. BTW its is against the rules to register multiple usernames so your breaking a rule willfully right at the outset.

I am sure your business is doing well with the loads of customers you have. Please leave bmwfanatics alone, the broad membership here have other items on this mind. If you feel your rights are being prejudiced by someones negative post against you then by all means, you have the courts at your disposal, you are most welcome to engage them to address your concerns.

For now and for a long time into the future I do not forsee your entrance back onto the forum. Leave it as that and move on.
