Back to the original topic - Tune tech is a good, reliable and well known and respected independent workshop, use them...the price you pay is not much over the rest BUT the quality and commitment to excellence and aftersales is what you get.
I cannot comment on Warren, I really remember and believe he specializes (and loves) the E46 series bimmers but he does work on others but I have no experience with him other than the above.
Depending on where you stay, you can make your choice dependent on your selection/ease of access to get to whichever.
Tunetech is difficult to get a booking however if you to the357, samoosas, roti rolls, haircut, vape shop, car wash AND free yellow sticker when done :smilebounce:

Thanks everyone on the support 357 is a bit to far for me. I apologize if the thread went to sh!t wasn't the intention, nonetheless thanks for all the input and question answered.
TLDR: Tune Tech is reputable, expensive but get what you pay for. Gizmo is a Alberton mech working on BMW but mainly E36 E46.

It is amazing that when a certain cancer was eradicated from the forum, that whenever the cancer is spoken of or brought up, the recurring cancer cells seem to resurface time and time again.

Jeezuz Kraaist guys... can the tune tech part be split from the Gizmo part. OP just wanted opinions on Tune Tech and an Alberton option. It was well within rights of Solo Man to mention Gizmo as an option... however based on what everyone who answered the actual question in the thread mentioned:
Most mentions of Tune Tech are positive on service (even at slightly higher price) and their facilities.
Some people have very negative or very positive views on Gizmo either attitude or service wise... race days, personal spats, fanboys, haters? Who cares? Why even bring this up? Does it do anything positive? He is polarising and is either loved or hated and I don't think even Gizmo would dispute that.
I am not sure why supporters think repeatedly getting into a mud slinging match is going to positively influence someone's decision. There was a suggestion of Gizmo, and people saying no but instead of countering with all the positive comments (of these surprising numbers of happy clients on the forum) and letting them out-weigh the negative, what happened is what happens in every such thread... childish derailment, attacking characters/personal attacks, changing the subject and dredging up the past. This is just taking those negative comments and adding credibility to them IMHO. Take the feedback or not, this is what it looks like. There is absolutely no logic to the way this thread has gone.
I find it so difficult to believe that grown-ass men are still at this after 90%+ of the mods have gone (remember when all the mods were the problem) and the dude has been banned for ages (and when he was the problem too). So now how are we still having this kind of thing crop up? I am aligned with @Yuben on his assessment.
