NO Grasshopper!!! Why you get cought??? :nono:
OK, so if its an AARTO fine and you pay within 30 days you only pay half.
Otherwise on the fine would be the details on how to put in a reprsentation letter/ letter of appeal to request for a reduction. :thumb:
Your other option is to get to the procecutors office asap, and go and ask for a reduction in person, but normally they only also half the ammount.
Good luck.

I am also having sudden speedfine issues.

I am collecting R200 speeding tickets quicker than what I can fill up my car with petrol!!!

It is all for around 73-75km/h in sixty zones.

This is not funny anymore, I never used to get those with my old Jetta. The only few was for doing 138-140km/h or so in a 120km/h zone!!

I think since I have the 528i (four months) I have collected about four of these.

I dont know which is AArto or whatever, I just know this is now getting serious!!

Sorry Coisman, this should actualy be in your thread and not here???

See the problem is... I think... when I use to take my foot of the floor of the Jetta, it would very quickly decelerate... it just does not happen with my E39.... that just keeps on going...

Thanks for your inputs and always being available and willing to "skiet die bliksems"

No problem Bud
I remember my Vtec also decelerated under engine breaking quicly,
even I got a fine in a 60 zone once, thats when I started doing the cruisecontrol thing.
Only on the long 60km/h roads, in town, robot to robot I still gun it
I know, I shouldn't, but man, I drive a bmw... seriously, who doesn't enjoy driving their car ?? :dunno:
Even Legacy with his 318i likes going fast.

There you have it!! It is so much fun, I have to get used to looking out for the traps... most I got was between Paarl and Somerset West/Strand through Stellenbosch.

I have this idea that there could be some of us on this forum who would like to have a chance to sharpen our driving abilities and have maybe some input on safe driving habits by experts (should have some members on this forum).

There will always be some of us that cannot just fork out thousands of rands for many weeks of intensive driving courses (don't have an idea what it cost).

The cars we drive deserve us at our best!

Thats where we lucky, we got the "Advanced driving" option at Kyalami.
R800 to go, me being a member of the bmw owners link, get to go for R550 :)
They supply the car, the lunch, and a certificate to say you did the course.
They unplug the onbourd cpu, so no abs, skid control off, just powersteering works.
Then after you got all the mean skills down, the cpu is reset, and you feel the difference it makes.
