Torque android app - please share experiences

Hi all,

Just to revive this thread, is there anyone here who is a Torque Guru and can maybe assist me?

I downloaded the app to my phone, and borrowed my friend's OBD2 adaptor (which I know works 100% on his car).

I tried it on my Corsa Ute, but it wouldn't read the ECU. My phone connects fine to the adaptor, but it cannot seem to read data from the ECU. The same story applies when I tried it on my Wife's A3.

So then I tried it on my 130i, and it works fine, pairs up quickly and begins to transmit data.

BUT...

When I try add additional displays such as oil temperature, and Cat temperature, the graphs say "No Data". I've tried unpairing and repairing, ignition off / on, etc etc, but still these graphs do not display any data. I've tried adding some other displays, but get the same result.

So my questions:
1) Anyone know the issue why it cannot connect to the Corsa and the Audi?
2) How can I get the additional displays to work on the 130i?

P.S: I am using the full version of Torque.

Thanks

How old are the cars that you are trying to connect to?
Mine connects fine to e90's Polos ect. But wont chat to my e46.
Dealer said they will try update the ECU to see if that helps.

other option is to visit the torque wiki and see what info you can find there.
or contact ian hawkins via the torque wiki, he seems to respond to queries.

Mine worked with my (ex) 2003 E46 and my current E90. Might be an issue with your E46.
