I would imagine you wouldnt want to put any weight on top of the car, it will seriously screw with your handling. Rather get a small venter or something

Its just for holidays, got 3 golf bags plus luggage and cooler boxes etc to take and well the boot just isn't big enough haha

Already got a motocross trailer, so there's no space for another.. Can't even hire one for dec as most are all booked out already.

The max load weight for the luggage box is 50kg, and seeing as just clothes for 4 people for say a week, surely the X5 can handle that?

For those of you who want BMW roof cross bars, part number for the standard roof rails 82710404320 and for shadow line rails 82710405052, priced at around 2.5k which is actually cheaper than the thule one.

Just found out the max recommended roof weight is 100kg, not that I would actually put that much weight on the car but, nice to know
