Thanks Jay, we've actually decided on a different route.

Here is some updates! Engine nearly finished. We chose a nice loud and obnoxious colour for the engine block. Gearbox built and mated to block...

Crank and flywheel, lightened, hardened and balanced!

Nice and clean sandblasted aluminium parts

Notice the Swiftune vernier duplex timing gears.

Now I wish you went dark metallic blue on the car... white engine bay, with the soft blue block, and a the immaculate components.. very much a thing of contrast this... but damn Cool nonetheless. :clapper:

Thanks. I hear what you're saying but it was always going to be a Rat. There are so few in this country and I love the idea of an immaculate engine bay surrounded by a rusty body
