Here are some pics of the intake prior to fitting. I did the swirl flap delete:
The swirl flaps were still solid and in good nick, but peace of mind is better knowing that they are not there at all to go wrong.
Car is all running so decided it was time for more cleaning, started off with removing the front wheels again and removed the wheel well liners:
They were rather dirty, so cleaned them twice, but they still not perfect, so will redo them again in the Summer properly. Took the time however to clean behind them properly.
Wheels were also very filthy with some tar deposits so cleaned them too:
Made a start on the interior too-
Before:
After:
Amazing transformation, but I just noticed there is more dirt on the door card again...............
Started with the leather seats too, but cleaning almost 13 years of grime takes some doing. There must be an easier way to do this:
It really took some scrubbing and took me ages. I didn't even finish the one seat. Any ideas?
I never got round to doing the rear trailing arm bushes as Saturday was pretty much a wash out, but will check next weekend. Tomorrow first thing I will be at Excede to get the downpipe corrected. While it's there, I will change the torn boost pipe.
