My 1st post is also lost here.. 300wkw from just SW is great for the N55.. Do you mod the gearbox software too? To kick the power in later gears? Only reason I ask is that I battle with grip on a stock car on hard pullaway, guess you need to also run some semi's? Also wanted to know if PWG or EWG

You can trying lowering your tyre pressure ? Helps me alot

Hmm thanks I think I'll try that.. Currently running 3bar @rear and 2.5bar @front.

Flip too much will spin like a mofo

Hi guys, just a quick shout out to Dzenno & Halim from Bootmod/Protuningfreaks. I think sometimes we forget to hail the unsung heroes because we deal with them so often. They always come back with a resolution & ensure we work together as a team to make the customer happy.

Very with their support and will continue to work with them to promote Bootmod in SA.

What is the gains on a m5 F10 with just a flash?

Massive gains. Up to 60kw and over 100nm

Is there a way for you to do it remotely as I am in Cape Town?

What is the price for an F10 M5 pureMetal and can you do it if I am in Cape Town?

In my view they should just do away with MP and give us the saving. If dudes wanna mod cars and do whatever then let them. If you want an MP you pay extra up front (much like how MP extension now works) and agree to do no modifications for the duration thereof.

The draft code of conduct for competition in South African Automotive Industry is proposing to do away with standard Motorplans, Warranties etc.

The code seeks to achieve

- Removal of restrictions on the provision of maintenance and service wotk of vehicles whilst under warranty

- OEMs to separate the costs of a vehicle from the costs of Maintenance & Service Plans at the point of sale of a vehicle.

Consumer's choice to

- purchase a new motor vehicle separately from a Maintenance Plan, Service Plan and Extended Warranty

- select the duration of a Maintenance Plan, Service Plan and Extended Warranty on newly purchased vehicle

- use any repair for non-warranty service, maintanance and replacement of parts not covered by a warranty during the warranty period. This will not have effect of voiding or canceling the OEM warranty. In these instances, the OEM is not obliged to pay for the repair work

- use any independent service provider for Warranty work during the warranty period, provided that the independent service provider uses an Original or Identical Spare Part. In such instances, OEM and Insurer shall not withhold payment to the independent service provider
