The production i8 will be revealed in less than a month, but here are the preliminary specs

Even if you aren't a fan of electric vehicles or hybrids, take the time to read the press release, it's hard not to be impressed by what BMW have achieved with performance and efficiency and how many "firsts" they are going to include in this car. The next 7-Series and M3 will also benefit from the CFRP tech

I am excited about this car and what it will do for BMW's image as a leader in automotive technology

I can understand this car and the need for some different ideas to the performance/efficiency conundrum.

So you roll to the shops down the road in electric mode, using no fuel. Most supercars are clumsy and drink fuel when it comes low speed everyday driving. Also the new 3cylinder 1.5L turbo power plant is sure to be a hit, to generate that type pwer from only 1.5L.....:praise:

Really hope this concept becomes a hit

And apparently it sounds great, uses the same type of Boysen exhausts the ///M cars use
