This is happening on Monday

Finally got caps for my Hartge 3pcs . Saving up for a full restore on these.

Too expensive for discs etc, and a bit overkill. Managed to get good condition 540i calipers and carriers for R1000.

The brand is XYZ. I've seen 2 guys on mye28 forum run them. And another 2 on Stanceworks. And CAtuned a BMW specialist in California use them for all their e30 builds. From the people I have asked on those forums they are all more than happy with them.

I personally think the quality of the product is top notch, and Alfa Romeo ran this company in WTCC in the 2000's

Will update how the car feels with them on.

In Short, no.

UPDATE : So initially I was going to install the coilovers this week, and basically that didn't happen. The joys of student life with some unexpected bills that came up and I then went ahead and bought discs and pads + a new idler arm bush. Leaving my budget stuffed to buy bearings and hubs for the coilover struts.

So Summary. Car has new
1.) Idler arm bush
2.) Upper control arms
3.) New stabiliser links
4.) New front discs + pads + sensors

Car has never felt this tight. So I am happy. Good base now to see the difference of the coilovers which go in after exams so I can work some more to save up for the Hubs.

Got a quote from masterparts for R378 Ex vat each. Bearing man no longer stocks. Should be done 2nd week of November. Will keep this thread updated

Sadly still no updates : Completing my thesis, and looking for employment. Barmanning cant really get your car parts after all the expenses at the end of the month.

Next month coilovers will be in. I've bought the hubs for the struts. Waiting on brake dust shields from BMW as well.

Cant stand this 4X4 LEVEL anymore. Here's a picture, car was used for a fashion editorial last week photographer gave me this.
