Production date: 14th May 2001. Registered 2002 model e46 M3.
Carbon Black, Harmon Kardon sound system, onboard phone and business front loader with Cd upfront and 6 cd shuttle at the back.
Bought the car on July 25th 2012 from the Previous owner MattQ in Cape Town. The car already had a reputation for being supercharged and heavily modded, but had fallen from it's glory days as many parts needed replacing. He has also removed his supercharger kit, so the car was now back to stock.
These are the major OEM Parts I replaced. Power Steering Pump and all hoses. New M3 Propshaft from BMW Germany. Rebuilt Limited Slip Differential with M motorsport 3:91 gears. New bushings for entire rear suspension. New OEM plastic covers for various parts of Engine bay and wheel arches (were missing). Various Fuses that required replacing. Battery.
Mods: Entire engine rebuilt by Axis engine works. Forged CP pistons (11:5:1 compression). Forged HPF connecting rods built by Crower (HPF turbo M3's run these rods). ARP L19 studs and bolts. Vac Motorsports High Perfomance coated main end and big end bearings. Vac Motorsports uprated oil pump. Vac Motorsports High performance Race Valves and single groove locks. Cylinder head ported and flowed with 3 angle valve cut at JB engineering (Same engineering workshop RGM use for their engines). Block honed with 45° honing cross hatch pattern for easier oil distribution. CP pistons rings filed to correct size for metal expansion. Car has fully adjustable Bilstein PSS10 coil over suspension as well as UUC adjustable rear camber arms, and UUC swaybarbarian front and back swaybars with endlinks. Polyurethane rear trailing arm bushes. Turner Motorsports front camber plates (Can dial in over -4.5° camber on the front). UUC short shift kit with ZHP gear knob. AEM Boost and Air Fuel ratio gauges mounted in HPF mickey mouse pods. Custom forged 19" Vorsteiner Narrow and wide lightweight rims. Carbon Fibre AC Schnitzer racing mirrors, AC Schnitzer top mounted brace, HPF under Brace. Turner Motorsports Rear subframe reinforcement plates. Custom rear shock tower Brace. Umnitza LED predator Angel eye Kit with Xenon projector lamp retrofit. Rear LED brake lights. M3 CSL front Bumper and M3 GTR Vented bonnet. Carbon vinyl interior trim.
VF engineering Supercharger kit boosting 4psi (for now) with Tial Q 50mm Blow off Valve, Devils own Water Meth kit from Project SHift and running Project Shift Alpha N software with Bosch Green giant 440cc injectors. Just installed an uprated Pulley tensioner for when I go to 9psi wheel.
