sump compression

hey boys and girls


my e36 is using a k@k load of oil.
no, she not smoking and no oil leaks. except for one day...
i noticed that she is building sump compression and pushing the oil out the dip stick. the oil is clean, no water no bugger all, in fact the oil looks as if it came straight out the tin.

has anyone had this, or know what i should do to stops the terrible thing.

you kidding right..... there is nothing wrong with the car, it pulls like a mutha fukka, not smoking etc, i would say its good, just pushing oil out the dip stick..... how does this happen, i think im going to go into cardiac arrest!!!!

my car had broken rings and didnt smoke at all and still ran like stink
get a compression test done also check that the breather system is not blocked if the breather is open and it builds sump compression it can only be rings or a very bad case of a overfilled sump

Breather pipe runs from tappet cover .

Ok the rings or bore is worn .:clap:
Have you changed oil grade lately ? Using a too thin oil could also be reason .

not sure on the grade, car had a service about a month back.
what oil would you recomend?
