steptronic e46 oil change

Ok I need some advice on where to take my baby to change the tranny oil. Recently in the mornings when she's cold she slips and every morning on pulling of from my driveway I get the Red cog on my dash and its in "limpmode" but after stopping and switching it off for a few seconds it resets and I can drive no problem til the next day again. So I have a gut feel it needs a oil change. 170K km on the clock never ha an oil change. I've heard of a place in Jhb apparently the guy used to work at Bmw but has his own place now? Does anybody know his name or have a number? And what money I'm looking at spending on this HUGE job? Thanx guys!

Yup, Nico knows his stuff. He can give you proper advice on what to do should it need further repairs etc.

ZF is on the same road as Makro, Germiston.
