From what I've read, that DP won't work. They have different cuts n brackets. There's only one joint in UK making them at the moment , akra has it coming soon.

she is going pretty good but picking up some issues. Cause of the stage 2 in the higher gears there is a small miss, and this is because im not getting enough air out so the engine is cutting off power.

all the guys i have spoken to on the N55 forum are saying i need to go downpipe and filter to help the car breath better.

damn it im going to have to do something!

They saying the cr wants to push power but its being limited

Makes sense, are you able to switch maps on the fly? When you return to stock, no missing etc?

Not 100% sure it won't be detected, but most guys say once u pull it out, you should be fine to pop into the stealerships.

Unless something catastrophic happens due to the tune, you should be fine lol.

jb4 on the e82 n54 it couldnt be detected once it was out. went through the whole episode. once it was out, they couldn't prove it. if they could it would have saved them R140k, so believe me, they tried.

:argh:hi guys spoke to a bmw tech today , what makes me very scared,
is that every one said no matter what plug and play ,or chip you put in your car
that is not approved by bmw they can be detected ,

I have been hearing the same thing and reading international forums where guys have said that BMW picks up 'implausible' errors even when a plug n play has been connected, even if it is disconnected from the car when it goes into BMW.

However, i have also been emailing Jeff from burger tuning and he guarantees that the N55 jb4 can not be picked up. The N54 jb4 removes the limiters which indicated to BMW that there has been tampering but the N55 jb4 does not remove the limiters.

I really want to go jb4 on my M135i but i also have my doubts.

well if thats true there are a few guys here on the forum that will lose the warranty.

But Terry has said the same to me and the guys from xcede say they cant be picked up

When you download the JB4 stage 2 program it allows you to read codes and delete codes. i have tested this a coupel of times and seems to work
