Squeaking sound in the mornings?

If your car is still squeaking, get them to check your crank pulley... I've heard there were a batch of vehicles (even though mine is a 2010) that had serpentine belt failures due to shoddy materials... my squeak got progressively worse, starting with happening just at cold start... to it being there every second the motor was turning... they replaced my v-belt and tensioners 3 times (as there were 3 belts that super-ceded each failed one before)... to no avail, my crank pulley was eventually replaced... and I have no squeak!

Started the car this morning and it didn't squeak at all.....just the familiar rumble of the diesel engine coming to life.....I am hoping this has now been addressed.

Good to hear, or rather, "not hear" - should be fine now. Just out of interest, is just the belt that they replaced? Or did they also make any adjustments?

I get the squeak in the mornings when getting into the car because the hand brake is still on. :blab:
Check the pulley / tension of the belt.
