Harties
The stop at harties for a chat and refreshments before we stopped at wonderboom for brunch.
Some imaginative shots form the girlfriend.
Videos (shortly) of the 350z vs the Slk 350. I couldn't find footage anywhere of how the 2 compare so was surprised by the results.
Nissan weighs 1629kg and has 230kw with long ratios and 6spd manual box.
SLK 350 weighs 1465kg has 200kw with a 7 speed short ratio auto box.
I haven't done lots of "jaaging" with the nissan so not sure how to launch it well but still think it's a pretty good comparison. My methodology is to let the opponent get the jump and then when I do catch and pass I'm sure that the car is faster. So in both cases the SLK had the slight jump before I went for it.

It's a white one. Yeah I'd love back seats. Think I'll put them in the boot... oh no wait there is no space either... :thinking:
