I used to big time into sound with my Isuze and my corsa.
I even broke and held the World Record in the Rookie International Class using 2 x 15 inch sub woofers, playing at 56hz reaching a high of 150.8 decibels...
I stopped competing in 2008, and I my numbers still place in the top ten loudest in that class of all time...
however those days are over, with the speed bug catching me...

I also come from the school of Rockford Fosgate, so much so that my right ear now rings if I listen to a big system loud.
But with cars now coming with Bose/B&W/Harman Kardon and what have you setups - I can't see any valid reason to carve that up and start installing my own crap.
So yes, speed...

Yes my 540 has a sub in the boot (Fitted by one of the previous owners), but it looks like a cheapie and really only ads to the rest of the system which is standard. Hmmm... just realized I haven't even had the radio on in weeks. That said the V8 is better than music anyway.
As for speed, for the cost doesn't justify the modding. I'll rather keep it stock and spend the money on good maintenance which will make the car more reliable and more valuable if selling.
