Any ideas on what sound system I can put in a e90 without cutting anything. Want it to sound like the Harmon kardon setup.

oops, when you fit sub in the boot, you will need to cut to allow sound through, those cars are sound proof man! there's no space under the seats, you don't want to cut the doors, and yes you need bass, Audio bank amp is a good option with a 10/12'' sub, get a splitter and keep your std radio. I installed this in my E46 325i and its amazing. Not to big and not to small, just perfect!

There are slim subs available from Hertz (Italian), but they are targeted at the SQ market. How much are you willing to spend?

Some wiring will have to be cut to get the signal. the highs and mids on the standard system are decent but the lows let down the system.

I think your best bet will be to upgrade underseat subs with the following:

I think someone here on the forum has done this upgrade. If you in the Jhb area I'd go check with Tremor Audio in Midrand, they do loads of OEM upgrades.

Thanks Carbon M3. :thumbs::thumbs:
