I was going to say around R150k damage as I had a smash with an E36 a couple years ago and it was around the same damage and one of the quotes was R92k and that was without any airbags being deployed! needless to say I have a styling pannel beater that sorted the car out and made it look better than it did before the accident for R37k the car even drove better after the accident LOL.
My question is how much is the car worth book value because I don't see them writing a new beemer off for R137k if the car is worth say 300k but I am a n00b when it comes to the value of these cars.
This looks like a simple radiator + fan replacement, maybe engine mounts, new front bumper + stiffener. your headlights are not the xenon + projector + angel eye type so those are not too expensive to replace. water pump + thermostat housing might need to be replaced too and some pullys and belts.
Airbags are a bitch though, cant see why you need to replace the dash because of an airbag though? that makes no sense at all.
These accidents always seem to look allot worse than what they are and then the panel beaters love to tell you its so bad and its going to cost an arm and a leg bla bla bla fish paste.

hey guys .. just a update .. they decided to fix the car due to cosmetic damage and no engine damage ...so paper work sorted out go to them last tuesday to collect courtesy and guess what i get ??????? a brand spanking new e90 320i facelift with 15 kms ... yes 15 kms on the clock .. white , xenons, sunroof pdc !!!! so yeah they tell me it goin to take bout 6 weeks to fix and im like yeah fine take your time i dont mind !!!
Do you know what is the kak thing if they repair your car....your insurnace premuims increase between 10% to 15%:banghead:
I hit a taxi that tried to make an emergency stop on the freeway from behind and the insurance says that as long as i hit him from the back, its my fault.....your insurance will try to sue the other guys for the damages but if they don't get at least 80% of the total damage cost then they will increase your premiums:dunno:
