I've got a 2013 F30 330d. It's specced pretty nicely - Alpine White/Black interior, M-sport, Professional Nav, 8 speed sports auto, etc. I've been looking around for a replacement. I was massively impressed by the M135i and M235i (I used to drive an E90 335i). Especially the sound was intoxicating compared to my current tractor.
The main problem is the price the dealers are willing give me for my 330d. It's actually insulting what they are willing to pay. The car is on 92,000km, but it's genuinely in showroom condition. Even the mags don't have a scratch on them.
Because of this I'm considering driving the 330d for a couple more years, obviously going over 100k km's and losing the motorplan. Extending is not an option as it's crazy expensive.
So what do you guys think? From what I read it seems the 330d's are pretty bulletproof and I shouldn't have any reliability issues. I have no real reason to buy something else except for the peace of mind of a motorplan (pretty negligeble actually) and the amazing sound of a BMW petrol straight six.
Also, if I choose to keep it, anything specific I should tell the dealer when it goes in for its last motorplan service in 3000km?
Here's some pics, because reasons:
