Ok going part shopping tomorrow, but I don't have enough to cover my needs so I need to prioritise. Hopefully you guys can help!

I need discs/pads - Can I do the fronts only for now?I already have the pads, still trying to source discs might be forced to see the stealers :yuck:...

Shocks and Tyres - If I had to pick one of the two then which? Again only the fronts...

The crack theromstat housing is what causing me all this stress. Can I get away with just the housing and radiator hoses for now?Or do I sideline everything else and just do the cooling ie hoses, thermo, waterpump, clutch fan??

Thermostat and housing first . Check if hoses are firm or semi firm , must not be soft , if ok they can live another day . Shocks first for safety and ride control then tyres -stuffed shocks will stuff up new tyres . Discs - IMHO ATE should make most discs as they make OE so you may need to shop around .
Water pump - is it messing around ?

Hoses are firm, only issue is the coolant coming from the cracked housing.Everything else seems to check out, clutch fan engages as expected, temp gauge always at 12 o'clock.

Shocks it is then.

Yeah ATE discs will take some searching for,but so be it.

I everywhere I went for disc were either insignificantly cheaper than the stealers and some A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE....
Getting the front discs R560-00 and the thermostat housing R390-00 tomorrow.

Wsup Ray and iifunky,

I was very surprised to find that most of the places I went to charge the same or more than the stealers!Anyway I decided to get everythings from the stealers so it's all good and all things considered I think the prices are decent.

Front brake discs R560-00
Thermostat housing R390-00
Air filter R124-00
Oil filter R130-00
Fuel filter R269-00
Washer fluid R46-00
Engine coolant
Engin oil R400-00
Spark plugs 4 pin platinum iridium R360-00 (from Bosch)

Mechanic also replaced a coil that had a bad suppressor,it was making a snapping sound. The engine had no rough idle or misfire though.Anyway at least the snapping is gone, and after the service the car is feeling quite lively. I LIKE IT!

Replacing the cracked thermo housing next week (BM didn't have it in stock),maybe the fan-belt too, and the front discs/pads. Will probably also get EBC Redstuff pads (R890-00) from Freerider and run them with the OEM discs at the back.
