Shocks E70

Hi guys

Looking at replacing the front & rear shocks on my 2007 X5 E70 3.0d. Agent prices are steep. Any suggestions what other brands I could use & where to get them? I've seen THESE. How are these KYB shocks?

I've been quoted R10k by Supertech for shocks ex fitment. What brand of shocks does BMW fit? Sales rep told me BMW shocks but we all know that BMW does not make shocks.

I've been quoted separately by an independent R4000 for Monroe shocks with 3 yr guarantee. Any advice on these shocks - they any good?

I believe that BMW fits Sachs as OEM dampers.
